Story

Having lost family and dear friends to cancer over the years, I cannot think of a better cause to raise funds for in my 50th year.

This will be my first Ultra-Challenge, after running Comrades in South Africa in 2022 and I wasn't sure I wanted to do another one until a friend kindly entered me into this race. Fortunately he has agreed to run it with me and can listen to my moans and groans.

I will be running 106 km in one day on May 2nd around the Isle of Wight with just over 2000m of ascent. Following the coastline round we will traverse the cliff paths up to the Needles before following the northern coastline back round before climbing back up through Ventnor to finish hopefully late in the evening.
