Graham's fundraiser for Aspire Leisure Centre gym

Graham Burns is raising money for Aspire

Bike ride

Every two hours someone in the UK is paralysed by a spinal cord injury. It can happen to anyone at any time and no one is prepared for how it will change their life. Aspire is a national charity that provides practical help, supporting spinal cord injured people from injury to independence.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am raising money for Aspire which is a national spinal cord injury charity by doing The Kings Trust Palace To Palace bike ride.

This is an annual event which has two distances to choose from 45 or 90 miles starting at Buckingham Palace and going to Windsor Castle which is the 45 mile route . Those who want the extra challenge can do the return journey which will make the 90 mile route.

This year as it is the 50th anniversary of the kings trust formally the Prince’s trust they have created a 50 mile route again starting at Buckingham Palace and ending in Battersea Park and a 100 mile route again starting at Buckingham palace and going out to Windsor and back.

I am doing the 50 mile route on my TriRide handcycle.

The money I raise will help to go towards updating some of the gym equipment at Aspire Leisure centre in Stanmore. The centre is fully accessible and inclusive. All donations are greatly appreciated.
