Story
My name is Graham and I've been a resident at Duckyls Farm Cottage for the past two years. I was born with crushed legs and two left feet, so the doctors told my mum that I would never walk. But I've proved everyone wrong.
During my stay at Duckyls, I have experienced first-hand the support, care and sense of community it provides to its residents. Duckyls also encourages me to pursue my interests. I like constructing things and metalwork, and have my own welding workspace on the farm. I've created some of the planters around the farm and even the pig BBQ pictured.
To give back something to Duckyls and Diagrama, I came up with the idea of skydiving to raise funds for the charity.
I am of the conviction that the funds raised will go a long way in enhancing the quality of life for me and other residents and will support the valuable work carried out by Diagrama, so please donate what you can.
I believe skydiving is fun, exciting and adventurous. It is also a unique challenge that can help attract donations and support for a worthy cause.
The skydive challenge hopes to raise £25,000, which will go towards:
Accessible learning spaces
Sensory and wellbeing resources
Enrichment activities
Therapeutic support
Outdoor learning opportunities at Duckyls Farm
Every donation counts and will go a long way in helping Diagrama build better lives, so please donate what you can.
It is my hope that as many people as possible help us raise funds for Diagrama. Please share widely and donate generously - your contribution will go far.
