I, along with my son's father-in-law Kevin, have decided to take on this challenge, as we have both lost a close friend and brother-in-law to Pancreatic Cancer far too early in life. In addition, I am a trustee of the Hull & East Yorkshire Smile Foundation charity that equips local charities, volunteer organisations and community groups with the tools and confidence to face the future stronger and more resilient. I am also a trustee of the Goole Amateur Boxing Club CIC, a charity that is progressing to become the centre of excellence for amateur boxing in Goole and East Yorkshire, helping young people grow their confidence and develop positive aspects to their character to allow them to reach out to achieve their dreams in life to come.
