Farthingstone Footfest Marathon Walk · 6 June 2026

Every Pound Makes a Difference As a small local charity, we rely on the generosity of our community to continue the work we do. Every donation—no matter the size—helps us support isolated older people right here in our towns and villages. Your kindness helps us: Provide one-to-one companionship and befriending Run social groups that reduce loneliness and isolation Arrange safe transport for those who can’t get out on their own Offer a friendly voice on the phone when someone needs it most Where Does Your Money Go? Quite simply: Every pound you donate goes directly to helping an older person in your community. We don’t have large overheads or paid fundraising teams – your support goes straight to the front line, making a real and lasting impact on someone’s life. I am undertaking another marathon length walk at the Farthingstone Foot Fest on 6th June 2026.

Volunteer Action is a great charity helping people aged 65 and over and those registered disabled who do not have access to their own or public transport, to maintain their independence and improve the quality of life within the East North Northamptonshire community.
