Barclays colleagues are supporting Alzheimer Scotland throughout 2026 and 2027, making sure nobody faces dementia alone and supporting a future of better brain health for all.

Story

Support Me in Raising Awareness of Brain Health 🧠

I’m supporting Alzheimer Scotland’s new "Powering Young Minds" initiative, which aims to help young people understand that looking after their brain health today can make a difference later in life.

Many people still believe dementia is simply an unavoidable part of ageing. In reality, research suggests that up to 45% of dementia cases could potentially be delayed or prevented through healthier lifestyle choices and better awareness.

The programme will work with young people aged 15–25 to build positive habits around physical health, mental wellbeing, social connection and lifelong learning. Rather than telling young people what to do, it will be designed with them, making it relevant, engaging and impactful.

By sponsoring me, you'll be helping Alzheimer Scotland reach the next generation with a simple but powerful message: it's never too early to take care of your brain.

Every donation, no matter the size, will help support vital education, awareness and community programmes that can make a real difference. Thank you for your support. 🙏💙
