Story

I’m taking part in Ride to Inspire 2026 because I strongly believe in giving back and helping to create opportunities for others. Cycling has always been a passion of mine – it’s where I switch off, reset and challenge myself – and combining that love of riding with the chance to make a positive impact felt like the perfect fit.

This ride is about more than the miles; it’s about supporting inspiring work that helps people build confidence, unlock potential and shape brighter futures. I’m proud to be riding in support of that mission and grateful for any contributions along the way.

The Inspiring Leadership Foundation supports disadvantaged people in the UK and internationally. Founded in 2015 by Leigh Bowman-Perks, a survivor of domestic violence and adversity, the charity was created to address gaps in support for vulnerable individuals, including limitations in government resources and a lack of long-term, holistic services.

Their mission is to connect those from underserved communities with a global network of inspiring leaders to deliver world-class development through mentorship, resources, and life-changing career opportunities.

Ride to Inspire serves this mission by raising vital funds, building awareness, and creating lasting connections to power the mission of the Inspiring Leadership Foundation.

Together we are: Closing gaps. Creating opportunity. Building a better future for all to thrive.
