Land's End to John o'Groats cycle ride

Acorns supports around 750 children and almost 1,000 families every year. The charity needs to raise £11 million each year to provide its lifeline care. Your support means Acorns can continue to be there for local families facing the unimaginable. Together, we are stronger.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have been a trustee at Acorns for over 9 years and have been blown away by the amazing work that they do. My term finishes in September this year and to mark the occasion and support the work that Acorns does, I am taking on the challenge of cycling from Land's End to John o'Groats, a trip of over 1,000 miles.

Acorns provides a network of specialist palliative nursing care and support to babies, children and young people aged 0 – 18 years who have life limiting or life threatening conditions. In the past year Acorns supported 732 children and 945 families. It costs around £10 million a year to run our care services, 65% of which needs to be raised through voluntary fundraising. Further details can by found at www.acorns.org.uk.

Any support, however large or small, will be hugely appreciated.
