Story
We are thrilled to be participating in the National Three Peaks Challenge in 2024 to raise funds for The Lucy Rayner Foundation. This trek will take us on a journey through the stunning landscapes of Scotland, England, and Wales with a total ascent of 11182 feet and over 23 miles in distance.
We start at Ben Nevis (4,413 feet) the highest peak in Scotland on Saturday then drive down to Scafell Pike(3209 feet) the highest mountain in England and then drive to Snowdon (3560 feet) the highest peak in Wales, to complete our mammoth trek.
We are aiming to complete this challenge in 24 hrs which will raise the difficulty due to sleep deprivation, trekking in the dark as well as the pure physical effort required from our 10 fundraisers aged from late 20's to early 70's!
As we prepare for this challenge, I am reminded of the importance of mental health and the impact it has on our lives.
The Lucy Rayner Foundation is doing incredible work to support those affected by mental health issues. Their mission is close to my heart, and I am honored to be able to contribute to their cause. With a target amount of £10,000, every donation counts towards making a difference in someone's life.
Join us in supporting The Lucy Rayner Foundation by donating through JustGiving. Your contribution will go directly towards providing vital resources and support for those who need it most.
