Story
On the 21st of October Dad passed away suddenly at home, he had been unwell for some time after a fall last August whilst on holiday in Torbay.
He received unbelievable care from the staff at Torbay hospital but once returned up north the rehabilitation care he received at Montagu hospital specialist unit left a lasting impression on both him and my mother and allowed us a few more happy times with him
.
Dad will be laid to rest with a small intimate group of people as per his last wishes but we are as a family aware of the respect and love a much wider community holds for him.
We know we could fill the priory church four times over and the streets leading up to it but in death as in life dad wished for no great fanfare for who he was or the things he did for others.
This page is for those who wish to make a donation in lieu of flowers to celebrate a life lived to the fullest.
Thank you to all who have shared your memories and if you see any of us Coopers out and about please do not ask us about Mr Cooper.......he was Graham and you have all earned the right to call him that.
