It is my immense privilege to be taking part in the London Marathon on Sunday 21st April 2024 on behalf of Solving Kids’ Cancer.

Solving Kids’ Cancer is very much a parent-led charity that supports children and families affected by neuroblastoma. Many have an intrinsic knowledge of what it is to be a parent of a child with Neuroblastoma.

It is one of the most difficult childhood cancers to cure. Almost 50% of children diagnosed with neuroblastoma (a particularly aggressive childhood cancer), will relapse at some point and when that happens, less than 1 in 10 will survive. 

Every two weeks a child in the UK dies of the childhood cancer Neuroblastoma. 

Solving Kids’ Cancer provide a range of specialist support services to families affected by neuroblastoma designed to equip them with the knowledge and resources they need to fight the disease. They also fund the groundbreaking neuroblastoma research that is essential to push treatment forward and improve outcomes for children. Solving Kids’ Cancer fights for a future where no child dies of neuroblastoma or suffers due to its treatment.
