So it's done!!

16 years 1 month and 27 days after my first marathon, I have completed my second (with only five weeks to plan and train!!), so I think I can safely say that I am still fit at 50 (well 53!)

I did take about 45 minutes longer second time around finishing the 26.2 miles in 4 hrs 28 mins 12 secs, but this was not about a time. This was about helping raise money and awareness for the Taunton Brewhouse and their 'Fit at 50' campaign to help them raise £20,000 by the end of June to unlock their Arts Council England grant to upgrade the theatre as they prepare for their 50th anniversary next year.

I cannot thank every one of you enough for your generous donations and support so far. They are so close to the £20,000 target and this page will remain open for a bit longer for anyone else who would like to donate.
