Story
On Saturday, 6 June 2026, the GRAHAM Northern Ireland Water Team will be taking on a challenge like no other.
A team of 12 will be hiking Carrauntoohil in County Kerry—the highest peak in Ireland, standing at an impressive 3,407 feet.
We will be joining teams across Scotland, England, Wales, and Ireland, with groups summiting every Munro simultaneously as part of the Wateraid Munro Challenge 2026 - a challenge that demands determination, teamwork, and plenty of grit. That's hundreds of peaks, thousands of steps, with one goal: to bring clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene to communities around the world.
Why are we doing this?
Because 1 in 10 people worldwide still live without access to clean water. Every step we take, every summit we reach, helps WaterAid work with communities to transform lives.
We’re doing it to raise vital funds, and every donation—big or small—will help make a real difference.
Your donation will help fund life-changing projects, from building clean water systems to improving sanitation and hygiene in some of the world’s most vulnerable communities.
Your support will:
💚 Motivate our team up a very steep climb
💚 Contribute directly to the cause we’re championing
💚 Help us reach (and hopefully surpass!) our fundraising target
Every donation will help us climb closer to a world where everyone, everywhere has access to clean water. Together, we can make this happen.
