Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit the Theatre's JustGiving page.

The Theatre is delighted to be working with MACS to help them shine a light on youth homelessness in Northern Ireland while raising vital funds to help the charity build brighter futures for the young people it supports.

MACS is Northern Ireland’s only youth-specific homelessness charity. Formed in 2019 as a service for children leaving care, the organisation has evolved over the last three decades to support young people from all walks of life to move beyond homelessness and build positive, independent futures.

Whether transitioning from care, leaving custody, or struggling to maintain safe accommodation or tenancy, MACS provides vital services including supported housing, wellbeing support, education programmes and reintegration schemes. Alongside practical support, the charity works to challenge misconceptions and the narrative surrounding youth homelessness in Northern Ireland.

This is such important work and we appreciate all the support we receive from our customers to help raise vital funds for this local charity.

Thank you from everyone at the Grand Opera House.
