Our mission at The Movement Centre is to maximise the potential of children’s movement control through Targeted Training.

Many children who visit us have a disability that affects their movement control. Targeted Training addresses these issues. Consequently, a course of therapy can help children to gain essential functional skills. Gaining these skills can make a child far more independent. As a result, this can completely change their lives.

Granite Search - Baubles Bonanza 2022

In 2021 Granite Search and our Stakeholders raised over £3,500 for The Movement Centre with our Baubles to Help Kids Walk Campaign – well for 2022 our Baubles are back!

This year we have an official sponsor Gloster MEP Ltd, who are a dynamic driven Mechanical and Electrical Contractor, well known within the industry for successfully delivering building services solutions to the Commercial fit-out, residential, new build and refurbishment sectors in Central London and home counties. They pride themselves on providing a true Engineering solution that works as one and provides the optimum quality first time on time. Each limited-edition bauble is £10, of which all proceeds go to the charity – for everyone we deliver and receive back a selfie with your hanging bauble, Granite Search and Gloster MEP Ltd will each donate £10 as well. So every bauble generates a minimum of £30 worth of donations.

£5,000 buys of 20 specialist Targeted Training Therapy sessions to help children with movement disabilities gain control of their movement

£10,000 hires 10 bespoke standing frames to provide children gain new skills and independence

£20,000 could cover the cost of a part time specialist Physiotherapist and in turn increase our capacity to help more children
