For anybody unable to attend Granny’s funeral, we would like to invite donations towards the collection for Crossroads Harris.

In memory of our Mum, Granny, Katag Strachan and for Crossroads Harris, so their service, but more importantly their kindness and friendship may long continue.

Katag was quite simply, everybody’s Granny.

The tea would always be brewing and the ‘suiteas’ jar was always full. Mostly, she shared her infectious laugh with all who was in her company.

Granny was able to spend her final months and days at her home in Seilebost with the help of Crossroads Harris. The Crossroads ladies spent many an afternoon with Katag enjoying toast, a strupag and a biscuit, reminiscing of times gone by. Their work across the islands is invaluable and brings great support and comfort to many people.
