Tour De Bexley - Brighton to Bexleyheath Bike Ride · 5 May 2024

The Bexley Moorings Project is a small charity providing invaluable support to some of the most vulnerable young people in Bexley. The young people we support may be experiencing abuse, bullying or social isolation. Support is offered by volunteers through a one to one befriending service providing the young people with a listening ear, as well as a weekly group to develop the young people’s social skills. Funds raised will go towards the cost of running these services, as well as one-off trips and experiences which the young people would not otherwise have access to.

Story

I have signed up to the Annual Tour De Bexley in order to raise funds for both Bexley Moorings Project and the Bexley Snap - Two fantastic local charities helping children in many ways.

60 of us will be riding 60 miles from Brighton to Bexleyheath with VARYING levels of training.

Bexley Moorings is an early intervention support service that offers one-to-one befriending and specific group sessions to young people, aged 8-17, who may be experiencing material or emotional deprivation, in crises, at risk or have a caring responsibility.

Bexley Snap offers disabled children and young people aged 1-25 an exciting and varied programme of clubs to provide parents and carers support, guidance, and regular breaks from their caring responsibilities.
