Story

Thanks for taking time to visit our Fundraising Page.

We are a group of family and friends who are fundraising in Memory of Frank Robertson who sadly passed away in September 2025 and for a few others whose CHS stories will be added to the page.

I'm running the London marathon as a member of Law and district AAC They have kindly given me one of their club places at this year's marathon, so I thought it would be a great opportunity to join my friends and family by raising money for a great charity.

The charity was chosen because my dad's friend, frank Robertson, sadly passed away from a stroke on September 2025.

Another member of our group, Gordon Robb, also suffered a stroke caused by bleeding in the brain shortly after Frank passed away. Thankfully Gordon survived this ordeal and received support from the CHSS.

On 25th August 2025, Bobby McGinty had a massive Cardiac Arrest while on holiday with his family. Bobby McGinty has been a massive part of my life since I was born and a great family friend, always willing to help and his story is a great read.

My Uncle Mick also had a sudden cardiac arrest on the 4th May 2025 while visiting England. The care he received was out of this world and he made a great recovery.

in 23rd march 1987 my papa sadly passed away of a heart attack. I didn't know my papa and this charity helps keep people alive so they get to know their kids and grandkids, so I would be grateful if you could donate so the amazing people can keep up the great work they do for so many people in this country. Thanks from the bottom of my heart.
