Kenny Macmaster along with his fellow rowers from Glasgow Rowing Club will be 'Rowing to the Beatson' to raise money for Ayrshire Cancer Support.

On 30 August the GRC relay team will row 30 miles on the Clyde - the distance from Ayrshire to the Beatson. The team of Ayrshire Cancer Support volunteers take that journey scores of times each week to get people in Ayrshire to and from the Beatson for life saving cancer treatment appointments. This is just one of the many services the charity offers. It costs £3,000 per day to run the charity's lifeline services.
