So, we've gleefully signed up to run the, not insignificant, 10 miles that is the Great South Run in October 2024!

We're doing this for an amazing cause that's close to all of our hearts, young people. We aim to raise as much as we can for the amazing cause that is the Young People's Shop (YPS). This year YPS has hit a milestone - they've provided counselling and emotional support to young people for 25 years.

This incredible charity provides vital support for those struggling with mental health and wellbeing. The work they do is so vital for young people in our area. BUT, this needs funding and donations to make it happen.

Their mission is clear: ensure that every young person aged 11-25 in Chichester and Arun Districts, and the surrounding areas, has quick access to free and confidential support. They're the only service that offers immediate, long term support for free five days a week. And the great thing? Those in need can self-refer to their service directly so no long waiting lists.

Not only does this wonderful charity support young people in crisis, but they also offer a holistic service, helping young people find ways to develop coping skills, unlock their potential, and help them identify life goals. It's all confidential and, most importantly, absolutely free for every young person they see.

As mums who have all become friends through our children, we understand the importance of supporting our young people to lead happy, purposeful and fulfilling lives as adults so any funds raised by our efforts here will help to ensure that young people in the Chichester area, who need it, have access to the support they need to thrive.

Please dig deep and if you see any of us prancing around in our lycra on a training run, give us a wave!
