Story
Ripon Community Link's very own CEO Victoria Ashley, together with her son Jamie Ashley, our Chair of Trustees, Carolyn Sands and her husband Jonathan Sands are training extremely hard through the cold winter months and diving in-quite- literally to raise vital funds by participating in the Great North Swim 2024. They will be swimming a mile in this difficult open-water event, in Lake Windermere on June 7th 2024.
All monies raised will support and enable the Charities work, based at Ripon Walled Garden, supporting adults and young people with learning difficulties. The much loved Historic Wall, surrounding the Walled Garden, is in urgent need of repair and preservation to maintain this historic asset but most importantly, to enable the charity to keep delivering its vital services to local people living with learning disability in a safe environment. As the home of Ripon Community Link, with its historical footprint, where Lewis Caroll is known to have played at our Charity's site, we are fundraising to undertake this task. Your generosity is very much appreciated, please donate to this worthwhile cause which will enable us to change lives for many years to come.
