To celebrate World Book Day and raise funds for the PTA, all children at Great Sampford Primary School have been invited to take part in a Sponsored Reading Challenge.

Children have each been given a bingo board comprising 16 squares with challenges that are suitable for their reading ability. They are encouraged to try to complete as many squares as possible and receive sponsorship for doing this. Examples of challenges include to read a book outside, to read a book with a red cover, to read a book about an animal, to read a book on climate change, to read a book that has been made into a film, to read a book set in the past, to listen to an audiobook.
