Me and my partner, Tim, are taking part in The Rainforest Run to raise funds for International Animal Rescue. This is our joint fundraising page.

Our inspiration is Didik - an orangutan who was rescued by International Animal Rescue in 2016. He was the reason I first started caring about orangutans and I love him so much.

We do all our fundraising for IAR as Team Didik! Everyone is very welcome to join our team if you’d like to.

We’re taking part in The Rainforest Run as we want to save the rainforest and all the amazing species within it; before it's too late!

The rainforest is vanishing before our eyes, and we must take immediate action to protect it!

Climate change and biodiversity loss are having a catastrophic effect on the world and rainforests are a vital component in the war against global temperature rises. If we come together to conserve the rainforest and its vital ecosystems, we save our future and that of species, like the Bornean orangutan.

The rainforests are the lungs of the planet. Without them, none of us stands a chance of survival.
