In September 2026 I will by climbing Africa's Mt Kilimanjaro which stands at an impressive 5895 metres or 19341 feet and will be looking to raise as much money as possible for the Second Chances German Rescue charity.

As a dog lover and pawparent to a rescue dog I know only too well how important charities like Second Chances are in delivering the opportunity for these adorable dogs to find their forever homes, however like anything this costs money.

For me working with a smaller charity that relies solely on donations was extremely important for me and although climbing Mt Kilimanjaro will be a massive challenge, the tireless work that the volunteers put in week in week out is truly something extra special.

If I can go some way to help the charity and raise some extra funds whilst reaching Africa's summit, then that is what I will do.

Anything you can afford is greatly appreciated and being able to help these wonderful dogs will drive me to the top.
