I enjoy challenges, and having completed The Pennine Way trek earlier this year, I'm looking forward to taking part in the Weston Super Half Marathon in October. Your support, again, would be much appreciated.

The Samaritans is such an important cause providing a listening ear for people in distress or isolation, saving lives when people feel they have nowhere else to turn. A family member is a Listener at the Weston-super-Mare branch, so it is a cause that is close to home.

Each affiliated branch has to raise its own funds which is not an easy task for a small branch like Weston Super Mare and North Somerset. The Samaritans have a national phone system so calls come from all over the country rather than just from the local area, so wherever you live, any donation you make will be supporting the work of the Samaritans nationwide as well as the Weston Super Mare and North Somerset branch.
