The Little Princess Trust is a charity that is very close to both of our hearts. The short documentary we put together about the charity is inspired by the third time that Felicity had her haircut to help make wigs for children, and the second time for Greg, when Felicity had over two feet cut off her hair, and Greg had over 14 inches cut off his.

As our lifestyle has changed, and we are spending more time travelling and making documentaries, this might be the last time our hair was long enough to donate this amount of hair to the charity (although I think we said that last time, so never say never). As a result, we wanted to do something extra special this time, to help not only provide hair, and to raise money for the charity (the £1400 we have set as our latest goal is the cost to the charity of providing a pair of wigs to a child who needs it), but also to raise awareness. We have also released a book, ‘Life Beside The ‘C’’, sharing the story of Felicity’s own twenty year (so far) cancer journey, with all our profits from that book also going to this fundraiser.

As such, we got to visit the charity’s base, and worked with them to create a special documentary covering our haircut and going into great work that the charity does. The documentary release date is 25th June 2026, and is available to watch free online (we make no money off this documentary, and funded the project ourselves).

The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions such as Alopecia.

The charity is also one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK.

The Little Princess Trust relies solely on the generosity of its wonderful supporters who help the charity give Hair and Hope to so many children and young people with cancer each year.
