Greggs Foundation Charity Walk 2024 · 19 September 2024

A grant-making charity which improves the quality of life in local communities Over the last 30 years, the Greggs Foundation has awarded more than £20 million. This money goes to support people around us who need it most, and to raise the quality of life for everyone in our local communities.

Story

This year the Greggs In House Development, Process and Quality team will be taking part in the annual Greggs Foundation charity walk, which will take us on a 12 mile circular route starting at Ad Gefrin in Wooler.

All money raised will go towards supporting the work of the The Greggs Foundation in their network of schools and community organisations across the UK. It's such a worth while charity operating in three key areas: Breakfast Clubs, Hardship Funding and Community Funding.

Breakfast Clubs - There are now over 900 Breakfast Clubs nationwide helping to feed 62,000 children on a daily basis.

Hardship Funding - This is a small grants programme to support individuals and families who suddenly find themselves in difficult financial circumstances.

Community Funding - Supporting charitable organisations to make a difference in the communities they serve.
