Hi, I am Grigoris. Originally from Kefalonia in Greece, I grew up a keen swimmer competing at a national level. My passion for Olympic sports has certainly defined my lifestyle to the point where I now live in London’s 2012 Olympic Village. Classic athletics has taught me to always set the bar higher by giving myself new challenges.

Which is why, in 2026, I will be taking on the iconic TCS London Marathon in support of Chance for Childhood.

Chance for Childhood exists to ensure children across east and west Africa have a safe and happy childhood. They ensure that every child has access to a quality education and a safe space to thrive.

They do this by working with local partners, parents and communities to change stigma surrounding disability and provide teacher training to ensure every child is taught in the way they can best learn.
