Grimsby and Cleethorpes Water Rats will be taking to the waters of the Grimsby Alexandra Dock near Corporation Bridge to complete a 31 day challenge of cold water dipping to raise much needed funds for Harbour Place Grimsby. A charity that gives support to rough sleepers and homeless people throughout North East Lincolnshire.

The challenge starts on the 1st December braving cold water conditions and whatever the weather throws in our direction to finish on New Years Eve at midnight rolling through to New Year Day. We will also have members of the club joining in with cold water dipping in wheelie bins, barrels, cold showers, tubs or even in the sea when they are unable to make it to the docks.

Although our challenge will take us to our limit on the days when it freezing outside. Our challenge only lasts for 31days. For someone sleeping rough and homeless in these freezing condition could potentially be for far longer. So please support our challenge and help those who need the help to find a warm bed and place to stay.
