Story
Here we go again.
For those new to this page, I'm Griselda — adventure seeker, speaker, author, coach and proud mum to two brilliant humans. I'm on a mission to break down barriers so everyone — no matter their background — can truly thrive at work.
From 27 September to 3 October, I'm running over 200km across the Dolomites with TRIBE Freedom Foundation — to help end modern slavery.
Yes you read that right!!!! 200 km ..... in the mountains. Yes, anything for a great cause such as this.
Thanks Tom Stancliffe founder of TRIBE for the inspiration and opportunity and Emily Chalke founder of Ella's for the connection at The Novi Awards.
I've climbed several mountains including Kilimanjaro and Toubkal, jumped out of a plane — and yes, made a total ass of myself along the way.
But I keep going. Because I'm one of the lucky ones.
Right now, over 50 million people are living in modern slavery worldwide. Here in the UK alone — 122,000 people are being exploited and trafficked. That's right on our doorstep.
TRIBE Freedom Foundation fights modern slavery, raises awareness, and supports survivors as they rebuild their lives. And throughout my work, I've championed women and underrepresented communities — the very people most at risk.
Is this one challenge too far?
Maybe.
But every step I take in those mountains is for something bigger than me.

Let's do this.
PS: I'm not keen on social media but I'm going to get a bit creative with a new tripod to share my training runs and mindset on instagram and tiktok so follow me there if you fancy some non-Linkedin updates. The handles are @griseldatogobo. 🏃♀️
