Story

This July, I'll be undertaking the HUGE and longest bike ride across the UK from the tippy top of Scotland all the way down to Land's End.

I'll be raising money for the MS Therapy Centre South Yorkshire. A place that's been more than just therapy for my mam, who's been going there longer than I've been able to ride a bike. It's where she's found support, community, and people who understand what she's going through.

It'll be a grueling journey in the heat (and midges in Scotland, not looking forward for that) but anyone is welcome to join me on sections of the journey and I will be updating daily on instagram with shorts fun clips of my progress

Any donations would receive an enormous amount of love and gratitude from me and everyone at the centre <33

Here's a little more detail about the MS Therapy Centre South Yorkshire

The MS Therapy Centre South Yorkshire is an independent, self-funding charity that supports people living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS), other neurological conditions, long-term health conditions, and their families and carers. Aiming to maintain their independence, mobility, wellbeing and quality of life through a combination of therapies, practical support, and a welcoming community.

They provide a range of non-invasive, drug-free therapies and services designed to help people manage symptoms, improve physical and emotional wellbeing, and remain active for as long as possible. These include oxygen therapy, physiotherapy, osteopathy, exercise and wellbeing programmes, complementary therapies, and social support opportunities.

For many of their members, the Centre is much more than a therapy facility. It is a place where people can find understanding, friendship, encouragement and hope from others facing similar challenges. They believe that no one should have to navigate a life-changing diagnosis alone.

As a self-funding charity, donations, fundraising and volunteers are vital to keep their services accessible. Every pound raised helps cover the running costs of the Centre, maintain and develop therapies, invest in specialist equipment, and continue providing vital support to those who need it most. Without the generosity of our supporters, many of these services simply would not be possible.

By supporting my John O'Groats to Land's End challenge, you are helping people across South Yorkshire, including my lovely mam, and the surrounding areas live better with MS and other neurological conditions, enabling them to access therapies, support and a community that makes a genuine difference to their lives.
