Grove Lodge's Fundraiser for WADARS

Cassie Norton is raising money for WADARS

Beachy Head 17 mile walk · 28 March 2026

Wadars is a Worthing (UK) based Charity established in 1969. The main objectives of the Charity are the rescue and rehabilitation of wildlife and the rescue and rehoming of domestic animals. We rely solely on Donations, Legacies and Fundraising to keep us running.

Story

We are raising money for WADARS (Worthing & District Animal Rescue Service), a local animal charity dedicated to rescuing, caring for, and rehoming animals in need. We will be doing a 17 mile loop which includes Beachy head on Saturday 28th March.

WADARS works tirelessly to help abandoned, injured, and vulnerable animals, including pets and wildlife, giving them a second chance at a safe and happy life. From emergency rescues and medical treatment to rehabilitation and rehoming, their team of staff and volunteers is always there when animals need help most.

As an independent charity, WADARS relies heavily on fundraising and donations to continue their vital work. Every pound raised goes directly towards food, veterinary care, shelter, and specialist treatment for animals who have nowhere else to turn.

By taking on this challenge, we hope to raise both funds and awareness for the incredible work WADARS does in our community. Your support will make a real difference to the lives of animals who depend on kindness and compassion to survive.

Thank you for supporting WADARS and helping us give animals the care and future they deserve. 🐾❤️
