We were devastated when we discovered that almost two-thirds of UK wild animal species have declined dramatically in the past 50 years.

Now one in ten faces the risk of extinction.

Globally, it's estimated that between 10,000 and 100,000 species are becoming extinct every year. There's nothing natural or inevitable about the alarming rate at which we are losing animals and their living landscapes.

It can be avoided.

PTES is an international conservation charity, working to protect animals and their habitats. They are passionate about protecting animals facing extinction in vulnerable habitats, but they also know that passion isn't enough: successful conservation is based on sound scientific evidence.
