Story

The Mental Health Foundation is the UK’s charity for everyone’s mental health.

With prevention at the heart of what they do, the Mental Health Foundation aim to find and address the sources of mental health problems so that people and communities can thrive.

Mental Health Week 2024 is for Movement. So many of us struggle to move enough. We know there are many different reasons for this, so this Mental Health Awareness Week we want to help people to find moments for movement in their daily routines. Going for a walk, putting on your favourite music and dancing around the living room, chair exercises when you're watching television - it all counts!

I became a Mental Health First Aider earlier this year and I have become so passionate in raising money for such a wonderful charity. I want to raise awareness that mental health conditions are real medical conditions and helping people understand that will help reduce internalized stigma or concerns.

Everyone at GS Social Care Solutions Ltd wants mental health to be prioritized across our services both with employees and it's service users. We want to promote the importance of the wellbeing as our people are at their most effective and creative when everybody feels safe, seen, heard and valued. By bringing all this together, we drive positive transformation in workplace mental health and performance.
