This September, Team Tits will walk again to raise funds and awareness for breast cancer 💘
We’re trekking 26.2 miles in one day in the Lake District - training is well underway and my current top Google search is ‘blister prevention??’
As many know, I had breast cancer in 2025, diagnosed just shy of my 40th birthday. The prevalence in young women is growing, and it’s never been more important to know how to check your chest. It was actually a Coppafeel ad, detailing the less common symptoms of breast cancer, that encouraged me to push for additional scans.
We’d love to raise as much as we can for this incredible charity. Every penny will help my mental state and my poor smushed toes on the day!!
CoppaFeel! are the UK’s only youth focused breast cancer awareness charity, and we’re on a mission to get every 18-24 year old checking their chest.
We educate people on the signs and symptoms of breast cancer and encourage them to check their chests regularly, so that if they notice something unusual they are empowered to contact their GP and advocate for themselves. We do this because when diagnosed early and accurately, breast cancer treatments are more effective and survival rates are higher. Early detection truly can save lives.
