For our 2024 Charity Challenge for Shelter, we are aiming to 'bag' as many Wainwrights as possible in the space of 3 days!

From the 13th to the 15th of September members of GSS will be in Grasmere aiming to bag at least 50 Wainwrights, with routes ranging from 15km to 30km+.

Wainwrights are the 214 English peaks that all lie within the boundary of the Lake District National Park in Cumbria, and all but one (Castle Crag) are over 1,000 feet (304.8 m) in height.
