Pen-Y-Fan, Brecon Mountain Hike · 9 July 2023

The Wales Air Ambulance Charity provides advanced life-saving emergency care for everyone in Wales, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We are a ‘mobile emergency department’ that relies entirely on donations to keep our helicopters in the air and rapid response vehicles on the road.

Story

As a workforce we will be climbing Pen Y Fan Mountain in the Brecon Beacons on Sunday July the 9th.

Pen Y fan is the highest peak in South Wales at 886m (2907ft) above sea level, it is also the highest British Peak south of Snowdonia.

We will be taking around 30 members of staff on the hike to raise money for The Wales Air Ambulance Charity.
