Thanks for taking the time to visit this JustGiving page.
Sobell House Hospice is based on the Churchill Hospital site and is part of the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. It is jointly funded by the NHS and Sobell House Hospice Charity. They offer specialist palliative care to those facing life threatening illness, death and bereavement in Oxfordshire. This encompasses physical, psychological, social and spiritual care and includes supporting their families and those close to them.
It is hard to believe that it is twelve months since Accommodation Services Manager, Nick Martin passed away at Sobell after his four-year fight with cancer. In memory of Nick, and in support of a new fundraising initiative being launched by Sobell House this summer, the south lawn of the Observatory at Green Templeton College will be home to an ox as part of Sobell House’s 2024 OxTrail. You can find out more about the trail here https://oxtrail2024.co.uk/.
Please do support this initiative, Sobell House provide amazing care for over 2,000 patients and their families every year.
