GTi Fitness Takes on the Dragon Boat Race! 🐉🚣‍♀️🚣‍♂️

On Saturday 12th September 2026, 17 brave GTi Fitness members will be taking part in the Manchester Dragon Boat Race at Sale Water Park!

Our fantastic team ranges in age from 50 to 75—and none of us has ever done anything like this before! We’ll be climbing aboard a huge dragon boat, paddling together to the beat of the drum and doing our very best to stay in time…and stay in the boat! 😂

After our practice runs, we’ll compete in several race heats. If we’re fast enough, we could even make it through to the semi-finals and finals!

Most importantly, we are raising money for The Christie Charity. The Christie has supported many of our members, friends and loved ones through cancer, so this is a cause that means an enormous amount to us.

Please help us raise as much money as possible. Every donation—large or small—will make a difference and give our team even more motivation to paddle their hearts out!

We would also love you to come along and cheer us on. It promises to be a brilliant, fun-filled day at Sale Water Park—with plenty of excitement, laughter and 17 determined GTi Fitness members giving it everything they’ve got!
