My Dad had a series of strokes over the course of a week in 2021. Although he has recovered remarkably well, the strokes have permanently affected his cognitive and motor skills. We believe his strokes were preventable as it stemmed from a problem in the heart and if this had been scanned then he could have treated. We would like to place a poster in every GP's surgery to raise awareness and prevent other people suffering from strokes.
