Guy, Kip and Hamish’s fundraiser for SPECIAL AIR SERVICE REGIMENTAL ASSOCIATION

Guy Clark is raising money for SPECIAL AIR SERVICE REGIMENTAL ASSOCIATION

UltraX England 60km · 12 September 2026

The main aims and objects of the Association are to promote the well-being of its members and their dependents and to maintain the Regiments traditions and esprit de corps. Our main priority is, and always has been, the welfare of our members.

Story

It is with great pride that we can announce that Guy, Kip, and Hamish will be running 60km across the Peak District, with 2,423 metres of ascent, competing in the Ultra X England race in support of the SAS Regimental Association. We are doing this to support a cause which we all feel strongly about. The SAS Regimental Association, which through donations helps those who are serving and have served in the UK’s elite military unit after they have left. Their main aim is to look after the welfare of those who are and have served when they need a helping hand. It would mean a great deal to the three of us if you donated to such an important cause which has and will continue to do great things for those who have served our country at the highest level.

The Association plays a vital role in providing welfare for its 5,000 members who range in age from a 104 year old Second World War veteran to members in their early 20s who have just passed SAS selection.

The welfare costs have been increasing 25% year on year for nearly the last 10 years. Much of this is due to the increasing costs of mental health issues that are sadly well beyond the capabilities of the NHS.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, secure, and ensures that every penny goes straight to the charity. Your generosity will not only help me reach my fundraising target of £3,000, but more importantly, it will provide essential resources and make a lasting difference to many lives.
