Story
Earlier this year, we lost our wonderful mum to brain cancer. Mum (Michelle) was diagnosed with a terminal glioblastoma in 2024. Even with a prognosis of 9 months, mum faced it all with incredible strength and was determined to live fully, creating memories with friends and family, raising funds for The Brain Tumour Charity and taking part in clinical trials to help others facing the same disease.

We’re also running it for Erin Lois, our lovely friend and Mum’s goddaughter, who’s currently receiving treatment at The Christie in Manchester. Her courage and determination inspire us every day.

The Brain Tumour Charity is the largest dedicated funder of research into brain tumours globally. They’re set on finding new treatments, offering the highest level of support and driving urgent change, because a cure really can’t wait.
Over the next few months, we’ll be raising money through a series of events, and we’d be so grateful for any support towards our fundraising. Every donation, big or small, makes a difference.
