Story

A team of nurses, radiographers and consultants from Gwent IR (Interventional Radiology) and Mermaid Medical are teaming up to undertake the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge, a 24-mile trek over Pen-y-ghent, Whernside, and Ingleborough, in an effort to raise funds for Cancer Research UK. This collaboration highlights the participants' determination to make a significant impact in the fight against cancer, leveraging their collective strength and resilience.

The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge is not just a test of physical endurance but also a symbol of the challenges faced by those battling cancer. By conquering these peaks, the teams aim to raise awareness and funds to support Cancer Research UK's vital research and services. Their commitment to this cause is driven by a shared understanding of the importance of cancer research in saving lives and the difference that every contribution can make.

Gwent IR, known for its excellence in Interventional Radiology, and Mermaid Medical, a company dedicated to providing quality medical devices, are setting an inspiring example of how collaboration and a shared goal can bring about positive change.
