This year I have decided to run my first ever half marathon. As most of my family and friends know this is out of my comfort zone, so new territory for me. I have taken each week in my stride completed some distances I never thought possible. I have been achieving this by following a couch to half a marathon in 15 weeks. I am currently at mile 7 and going strong.

I have worked at Swansea University for just over 13 years so to have this opportunity to run in aid of Making Strides and support this great cause is just amazing and pushing me on.
