Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page. We are raising money for Ovacome, the UK's Ovarian Cancer charity, in memory of our mum.

Before our mum Jenny passed away in August 2023, she was supported by Ovacome, a charity which provides support and information to those affected by Ovarian cancer. Throughout her illness, Mum found the support from Ovacome and its members a great help, particularly enjoying their walking group and Friday Zoom chats. Through Ovacome, she found a community who could understand what she was going through, which meant a lot to her. We are grateful for any donations made in her memory.

Ovarian cancer is very treatable if detected early, and yet only 45% of those diagnosed currently survive their cancer. There is no screening programme.
