WE’RE RUNNING THE LONDON MARATHON🤪🥳🥴 FOR TEENAGE CANCER TRUST❤️❤️

In May 2022, just 4 weeks before graduating, Ali's best friend, Maddie, was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). She bravely endured three rounds of chemotherapy and a stem cell transplant, and after a long battle, she achieved remission. By the following year, Maddie was reclaiming her life—she finished her teaching degree and landed a job at a primary school.

But in January 2024, just two days into her new teaching role, Maddie received heartbreaking news: she had relapsed. Determined to keep fighting, she faced even more aggressive treatment—chemotherapy, countless hospital visits, and the devastating prognosis that she had only two weeks left to live. Despite the odds, Maddie refused to give up.

Now, three months on, Maddie has defied all expectations. She has undergone a second stem cell transplant and is thriving. She's living her life to the fullest, embracing every moment, and continuing to defy the odds with her strength and spirit.

This is why we’ve chosen to run for Teenage Cancer Trust—a charity that has kept Maddie smiling throughout her treatment, whether through a surprise Domino’s delivery or a fun hat. They’ve made a difference, and we want to give back.
