Story
We are running a series of work-based, professional webinars to raise funds and awareness for The Rainbow Trust Children's Charity. Our first webinar is on the topic of Managing Grief in the Workplace. It will take place online on Tuesday 25th November at 09.30am BST. Our expert panel will discuss common mistakes and challenges alongside practical tips and best practice to support grieving employees in the workplace. Once we have received your donation we will send you a link to register for the event along with all the key information and timings. Remember to include your email when you donate so that we can make sure that you get all the details.
The Rainbow Trust is a cause very close to our hearts as the charity supported our Managing Directors and their family through the most challenging of times. You can read their story here:
In our darkest hours this thoughtful, empathetic and practical support was a true gift. Our son Daniel was diagnosed with a brain tumour when he was just 3 months old and he lost his fight just before his first birthday. Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity supported our family with respite care, sibling support and bereavement counselling. Even now, I look back on our times with Rainbow Trust team members with a sense of ease and comfort, they provided a safe space for us to ‘just be’.
On June 28th this year, Daniel would have been 30. We are fundraising in his memory to help more families receive this life changing support.
Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity supports families who have a child with a life-threatening or terminal illness. When a child has a serious illness, family life is turned upside down and time becomes more precious than ever. Rainbow Trust pairs each family with an expert Family Support Worker who enables them to make the most of time together, giving them practical and emotional support, for as long as is needed. Rainbow Trust supports the whole family including parents, carers, the unwell child, brothers, sisters and grandparents.
