Hadge was a Husband, Dad and Grandad to his Family, but as well as that he was also a huge supporter of Scouting in Long Eaton

From a Parent to the A Team, to Scout Leader to a Trustee of 15th Long Eaton Scouts. Camps from Wales, Germany, Guernsey, Switzerland, Chatsworth, Drum Hill. Friday nights in a Kayak, playing games, organising money, Hadge gave over 35 years of his time to the 15th Long Eaton Scout Group, and not just the 2 hours a week, but weekends, a week in the summer, many hours in total

He was always that grounded person, nothing was impossible, it just had to be worked out.

Our Friend, surrogate Dad, and Grandad to many, cream tea's Leaders Malvern Challenge, Four Inns Challenge, and not forgetting the Seven Dwarfs.

Hadge has asked that donations are made to 15th Long Eaton Sea Scouts, in his memory so the work and experiences he was able to give to so many young people can continue, and the Trustees appreciate it.

Whilst in Hospital, Hadge asked if we would accept his resignation from the Trustees of 15th, unfortunately the time has come to say yes, but you will always be part of us.
