Anthony & Amy’s Skydive for Daft as a Brush - August 14th 🙌🏽

We’re taking the plunge… literally!

On 14th August, Amy and I will be jumping out of a perfectly good aeroplane to raise money for an incredible North East charity, Daft as a Brush Cancer Patient Care, which provides free transport for cancer patients travelling to and from treatment across the region.

“This skydive comes at a significant moment in my life. After 14 years working at Hadston House Youth and Community Project, supporting local young people and families, and spending the last five years leading the Youth Service, I am preparing to move on to a new chapter. As part of saying a proper farewell to a role and community that have meant so much to me, Amy and I wanted to take on a challenge that would also raise money for a truly worthwhile cause.”

Daft as a Brush is a charity that quietly transforms lives every day. Their dedicated volunteers help ensure that people undergoing cancer treatment can get to the appointments they need, providing practical support, reassurance, and a friendly face during some of life’s most difficult moments.

“So, as I prepare to say goodbye to Hadston House, Amy and I have decided to mark the occasion by doing something completely outside our comfort zone: a skydive! It will no doubt be exciting, nerve-racking, and more than a little terrifying, but knowing that every donation will help support cancer patients across the North East makes it all worthwhile.”

If you are able to support us, no matter how large or small the donation, we would be incredibly grateful. Every pound raised will help Daft as a Brush continue their remarkable work serving people throughout our communities.

Thank you for your generosity, encouragement, and support.
