Story
Thank you for taking the time to visit our Three Peaks Challenge JustGiving page.
Being part of the Hague Dental team means enjoying what we do while supporting the communities and causes that matter most to us. We’re proud to combine our passion with purpose by raising funds for our chosen charity partners.
For 2026, we’re supporting the Little Roo Neonatal Fund, a charity dedicated to helping premature and critically ill babies, their families, and the incredible staff at St Peter’s Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
This cause is especially close to our hearts. Little Roo provided vital support to our Field Services Manager, Kieran Hegarty and his wife Gemma, when baby Zac was born in October 2025. Little Roo's care and compassion made a real difference during a challenging time.
Zac's story: "On 24th October 2025 at 6:59pm, our beautiful baby boy Zac was born. We were blessed with the most magical and perfect birth and spent the most precious first three hours together as a family.
Sadly, things then took a devastating turn when Zac stopped breathing multiple times. He was rushed to the SCBU at Royal Surrey County Hospital, where he was ventilated and doctors explained that he needed to be transferred to a specialist unit at St Peter's Hospital NICU.
Around eight hours later, the specialist transport team arrived. During preparations for the transfer, the neonatal ambulance crew discovered that Zac was suffering multiple seizures every ten minutes. Zac was placed onto a specialist transport ventilator and rushed by neonatal ambulance to St Peter’s NICU.
From the moment we arrived at St Peter’s, the doctors and nurses acted quickly, providing Zac with exceptional care throughout the seven days we spent there. It was there that the team was able to quickly identify that Zac had suffered a neonatal stroke, allowing him to receive the specialist care he urgently needed. During this incredibly difficult time, we were fortunate to stay in accommodation on the NICU funded by the Little Roo Neonatal Fund.
The support we received went far beyond medical care. Gemma was given a post-birth care package, we were provided with food, drinks, and toiletries, and the coffee mornings offered comfort and support during the hardest days of our lives. Sitting beside Zac in NICU, I also realised that many of the life-saving medical devices around him had been funded by the Little Roo Neonatal Fund.
The Little Roo Neonatal Fund relieved so much of the pressure and stress, allowing us to focus entirely on being there for Zac while we faced so much uncertainty. The charity does truly incredible work for families in crisis, and we cannot imagine what our experience would have been like without them."
To raise funds for this incredible charity, Hague staff and partners, customers, and service providers are taking on the Three Peaks of Surrey Challenge on Saturday, 8 August 2026. This demanding trek will see us climb Box Hill, Holmbury Hill, and Leith Hill (Surrey’s highest point), covering 23 miles (37km) with a total ascent of 1,060 metres, expected to take around nine hours to complete.
We would be incredibly grateful for your support. Every donation, no matter the size, will help make a meaningful difference. If you’re able to share our campaign with your network, that would mean just as much.
If you’re a UK taxpayer, please consider adding Gift Aid to your donation; it increases your contribution at no extra cost to you.
Together, we can make a lasting impact for vulnerable babies and their families.
